My Grandson Who Is 5, Has Pain In The Throat

My grandson who is 5, has pain in the throat and has been running temperature since yesterday night. He was taken to ER and they discharged with amoxycillin prescription. Now at night, he complains more pain. Is it advisable to go to ER or stay with the antibiotic till morning ?
