My (grown) Son Had An Ultra Sound Today On His

My (grown) son had an ultra sound today on his kidneys. The doctors office called and now wants him to have an MRI. He thought they said he had some slight sodosus( I don't know how to spell) I don't know if he heard it right and like I said I don't know how to spell it. Was trying to figure out what they think it might be
