My Gums Are Very Tender And Tremendously Sore When I

My gums are very tender and tremendously sore when I floss or when the dentist cleans them, mainly on the front 4 teeth. The symptom started out on the bottom front teeth. It has been going on for at least 6 months. They have biopsied the area but found nothing. I cannot get a tooth brush in between the teeth as it is too tender and sore.

Any ideas
