My Gyn Wants Me To Wait And See What Happens

My gyn wants me to wait and see what happens with a cyst that I have. I've had moderate pain that is there 24/7 in the lower right quadrant for a year now and just less than 2 months ago an ultrasound showed a 3.4 cm slightly complex cyst in my right ovary. I am due for another ultrasound and gyn appointment in about 25 days but the past few days I've had severe pain, albeit not severe enough to make me go to the ER but its constant all day and probably an 8 in the pain scale.. I'm nauseous and can hardly eat without feeling sick. I have a weird tingling sensation too. I'm wondering whether or not I should go to the ER and see if they can just remove whatever it is or try and brave the next month till my appointment.
