My Hair Roots And Surrounding Pores Under My Arms All

My hair roots and surrounding pores under my arms all have small hard blackheads in them. Its been like that for as long as i can remember. They do not give any discomfort of any sort except for making my underarms look dark even though the skin is not. How do I remove them and keep them from coming back?
