My Hands Are Rather Painful Every Day, Especially In The

My hands are rather painful every day, especially in the mornings. I can barely make a fist out of them and the pads (for lack of a better word) of my hands feels sore like they are bruised but they aren't black and blue like a bruise. It hurts to clap them and I have a hard time holding on to things, like making a bed or such. Do you have any ideas?
