My High School Sweetheart And I Have Reunited After 30

My high school sweetheart and I have reunited after 30 yrs. he has been thru a lot of health issues. Heart attacks at 40. They opened the carrated sp? Arteries n put in stents Then 10 yrs later undiagnosed diabetes led to a stroke w complications resulting in toe amputations on one foot. He spent a year in a rehab and was out walking doing great had a lot of leg vein artery openings. Then he got two wounds on the heels of his feet from ill fitting shoes. Turned into a really bad set of wounds that now a year later more leg and artery surgeries, a pik line and wound vac that were in for prolly 2-3 months and wound care are finally healed. My question is what sort of life can we expect? I love him so much and want as much time as possible together. His sugars are good btw and not insulin dependent.
