My Husband 48 Yrs Old Has Had A Cough For

My husband 48 yrs old has had a cough for over a year now and has become a lot worse in the past few weeks. He had a chest xray and just received his results. His heart is not enlarged and lungs and pleural spaces are clear, but he is showing mild unfolding of the thoracic aorta. We will be seeing his doctor tomorrow but I am feeling a little anxious and would like to have your opinion.
