My Husband, 67 Years Old, Suffers From Bad Heartburn That

My husband, 67 years old, suffers from bad heartburn that is worse later in the day and after eating, as well as nausea. He also has a pain in his back to the right of his spine and below the shoulder blade. They told him he has acid reflux but the medicines make him worse as does Zantac and other stomach meds. He has had a scope that didn't show any ulcers, etc. he is getting very frustrated because it has been months with no answers and no improvement. We are open to suggestions please! Thank you.
