My Husband (67 Yrs Old) Has Been Diagnosed With HCC,

My husband (67 yrs old) has been diagnosed with HCC, (nonresectable, liver transplant is not an option) and NASH. He has undergone TACE and SBRT radiation, finishing Feb. 1st. His AFP has gone from 11.3 ng/ml to 166.1 from May 22, 2017 to Feb. 6 of this year. He is stage IIIA, it is all still contained in the liver but he also has a partially blocked portal vein. He did not want to take the Nexavar due to the side effects, but he has been advised to go ahead and start it. we have been told the cancer (in dome of liver) is more aggressive that previously thought after the TACE procedure. No MRI is scheduled to be completed until April 25th. We were told in November 9 months to a year, for reasons beyond my control he does not see this physician anymore, so the new doctor has me confused with prognosis of maybe a year but then again he tells my husband something different. I know that he can be healed here on earth or in heaven, but he thinks he will be healed here on earth and he will not make any effort for making those final arrangements and I don't know how to approach the subject to get it done. in your experience what life expectancy are we looking at?
