My Husband, 69 Yr Old Diabetic (controlled With Insulin +

My husband, 69 yr old diabetic (controlled with insulin + meds) is acting strange today. Uncontrolled wobbling when unsupported, claiming weakness, headache (he never complains of headache) and he just SLOWLY fell to his knees and then the floor, taking me with him and did not try to stop the fall for either of us. It's like he's spaced out, confused. Taking a wide cocktail of meds, none new. Within the past week he's had EKG, Echocardiogram, carotid artery imaging. He tries to act normal when I'm watching and claims he is only feeling week. Had a DKA this week. What does this sound like?
