My husband & I have both been experiencing an itchy red rash on or backs & torsos the past week- VERY itchy! I have prescription hydrocortisone for lichen sclerosis (?) - from menopause... I've been using that to combat the itchiness along with a metal back-scratcher I bought... The red bumps/lesions are small but extremely itchy! When they're scraped, there's a distinctive flakiness of the shin underneath... Not quite sure what direction to head in with regard as to treatment. It's not ringworm, I know that - got it as a kid from my dog. These are very small bumps but extremely itchy! Hydrocortisone only helps for a bit... Also using Gold Dong anti-itch lotion. My husband is treating a fungal infection of his toenails - can this spread through/on our sheets? Thanks for any insight. May be calling my dermatologist after the holiday weekend. It's been somewhat debilitating with regard to sleep & daily concentration..
