My Husband A A Left Groin Abscess Surgical I&D 2

My husband a a left groin abscess Surgical I&D 2 weeks ago. 3-4 days ago another area in upper left thigh appeared hard and red as if it were another abscess. Went to the surgeon today and he proceded to do and I&D in the office. However it turned out to be a hematoma filled with clots. My husband is on Xarelto. the area is still hard and I'm worried that he might need to be in the hospital. He had a DVT that went PE and resulted in AFib in 2013, the reason for the Xarelto.
