My Husband (age 57) Woke This Morning With Total Body

My husband (age 57) woke this morning with total body aches, hot and cold flashes, cough (deeper than a sore throat but not like chest congestion), feels dehydrated and has slept from 1:00 pm to now almost straight. Been feeding him fluid and protein when he's awake. Has been visiting sick mom in hospital past few days. Flu?
