My husband, aged 66 years, has been suffering from lower back pain for last one year and got MRIs and biopsy done but no clear results. Because even after getting regular treatments for degeneration of bones and compressed nerves, the pain increased, bonescanning was advised and the result was 'Bone TB can be considered'. For last 13 days, he has been put on anti-TB medicines. He is a vegetarian and diabetic. He has lost 5 kgs. in 13 days. He is on bed and feels lot of pain when moves out of the bed even for going to the washroom. My request is to suggest vegetarian diet so that he does not feel weak and to give him strength to combat this situation. When he will start feeling better though we know the medicines will have to be taken for almost one year. Thanks
