My husband and I are ttc and my husband's semen analysis showed some staph haemolyticus. His urologist placed him on amoxicillin and septra simultaneously with no results. After another semen analysis revealed that this infection has not cleared up, he was put on zyvox. Will this work? The bacteria is supposedly susceptible to this antibiotic therapy. We are eager to start fertility treatment with IUI ASAP. Will this infection affect fertility? Can it be spread thru sex?
