My Husband And I Have Been Trying To Conceive Since

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since November. I had menstruation on 7/26/16 and believe I ovulated on 8/8/16. Took a pregnancy test on 8/19/16 with negative result. Started bleeding on 8/22/16 assuming it was my period (felt very much like period) and stopped on 8/25/16. Felt sick for a few days following so decided to take a pregnancy test which came back positive on 8/30/16. Since have continued to get positive results on daily basis. Had blood hcg done on 8/30/16 with 41 miu/ml and the nurse told me I would be 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant and myou levels were low. I go back tomorrow for another blood test. We are very confused by the whole thing, is it likely my levels would still be this high if I had a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage that early?
