My Husband Contacted Hep C Back In 1970. They Didn't

My husband contacted hep c back in 1970. They didn't know back then what type it was. Back in 2004 we found out it was hep c... Stage 2. by doing a liver test. He didn't want to do the treatment for it but he decided he would do the millk thistle and liver aid treatment for 4 yrs. His blood work shows his alt and ast are back to normal and have been for 5 yrs now. His skin color before the treatment was grey color and now it is normal. He is going to be 66 next month and he is always tired , no energy. He says even though he sleeps all night , he wakes up tired.. Is this normal to have had Hep c and still feel this tired and no energy?
