My Husband Fell Outside Earlier Today While I Was At

My husband fell outside earlier today while I was at work. He doesn't remember hitting his head but I found a small mark on the back of it. His main symptoms are that he says he can not hear very well and it hurts to close his jaw. Should I be very concerned and have it checked or wait it out overnight?
