My Husband Had A Pulmonary Embolism Three Weeks Ago. He's

My husband had a Pulmonary Embolism three weeks ago. He's been doing very well, no shortness of breath or anything. About and hour after dinner tonight he has a bloated belly and some discomfort. Yes, he has had this before, but I guess just nervous after the hospital visit. Gave him some ginger and 125mg of Gas X. How long should I wait to see if this works or should i try to get him back to a hospital?
