My Husband Had A Barium Swallow Test This Morning And

My husband had a barium swallow test this morning and it shows the bottom of his esophagus did not move like it should. The top was find. Last week they did an upper GI and the doctor stretched his esophagus in two places (top and bottom). He said he has a hietal hernia and talked about a ring there also. What do you think will be necessary to be done? He is having much difficulty swallowing and the burning from acid reflux is bad. This makes him eat very little and he has lost 26 lbs in the last 2 1/2 weeks.
