My Husband Had A Bout Of Passing A Jelly Like

My husband had a bout of passing a jelly like substance from his rectum. Is it anything to worry about? He has a few major health problems, 2 strokes, the latter one 7 years ago leaving him with very poor mobility. He has prostate cancer, and is diabetic. He is now epileptic, having two fits during last night.
