My Husband Had A Fall At Work And Hit His

My husband had a fall at work and hit his head pretty hard. Left some rather large “goose eggs”. It happened about 9 hours ago. He has pain but no dizziness or confusion or anything like that. Is it ok for him to go to sleep soon or should I be checking on and waking him up periodically to check on him to be safe
