My husband had a heart attack 5years ago ,he was operated on 5. Bypass surgery one of the drugs he was given was protonix in Feb of this year he fell and had surgery on his leg the brake is close to the hip while he was in hos they took him off protonix. Since coming home from rehab he started having a lot of gass and some discomfort in his stomach should he take protonix again?
