My Husband Had A Mild Stroke In September 2014, Since

My husband had a mild stroke in September 2014, since then he's been taking Clopidogrel tablets. He is considering having a tattoo but has been informed that he should stop taking the tablets a few days before the tattoo. I'm just enquiringl if that would be OK.
