My husband had a piece of firewood fall against his shin. Where it hit there is a goose egg and it is red but along the inside of his foot along the arch and toward his heel it became black and blue, that is now leaving the the black and blue is going to the outer side of his foot and the top of his foot along where the toes attach. There is not pain but there is swelling
