My Husband Had A Recent Colonoscopy And He Had A

My husband had a recent colonoscopy and he had a large polyp that was removed. we went to get the results and the pa doctor said things were fine (was pre-cancerous but was removed) will have a colonoscopy next year to keep a check on all. Ok. but she did mentioned that the report mentioned his bowel (intestine) was pinkish as they have seen with people who do laxitives alot. He said No just the prep for the colonoscopy (after I said that no just the prep) Why would the dr. question this? I've never heard of this. I do laxitives (fiber) to help keep me regular. Could he be lying to me? I never heard this before! Is that true about the pinkish look?
