My Husband Had A Scope Through The Penis Into The

My husband had a scope through the penis into the bladder last Friday and is still having a lot of pain when he urinates or certain ways his clothes touch the penis near the tip. His doctor prescribed 9 pills of phenazopyridine to be taken every 12 hours. My concern is that his creatinine and potassium were slightly elevated about 10 months ago when he had been taking a lot of motrin for back pain. He is back in normal limits and has been for about 6 months but can this cause any kidney damage?
