My Husband Had A Second Open Heart Surgery In July

My husband had a second open heart surgery in July this year. Since then, he has had a burning - shocking pain in his outer right thigh and both of his butt cheeks. Hurts whether he is sitting or standing.
It hurts him so bad he is consumed with the pain. He has the same pain in his right thumb and two fingers. Ideas???
