My Husband Had A Seizure 32 Days Ago And Has

My husband had a seizure 32 days ago and has been in the hospital ever since. When he had this seizure he also fell down a 10 ft. flight of stairs, had no broken bones, just bruised up very badly. He was knocked out for 3 to 5 minutes and had a concussion but not brain bleeding or swelling. Our problem is he is just sleeping all the time. Seems to know what we are saying and will shake his head yes or know and only opens his eyes for a few seconds and then is back sleeping. He also had another seizure (just staring off into space) 4 days ago and seem worse since the last seizure. Can you explain what may be the problem
