My Husband Had A Stroke At 64. He Fell And

My husband had a stroke at 64. He fell and hit his head on the left side above his eye , had a bump and brused also bursed his ribs on left side. When I found him he could not move his right arm and leg, was able to talk and was coherent. The Dr. told me he would not live though surgery. The swelling was almost the full 1/2 of left side and was pushing over the mid center and in to the stem. He lived 2 days. My question is did the fall create the stoke. He had seen the Dr. about 10 days before for his heart he had a heart attack in 1999. Two years a go had a ablation for flutter 100% and afib was 99% cleared. He had been feeling great, this last few months not feeling great did take nitro but this realy did not work the majority of the time. Dr. put him on Imdure he was on it for 5 days and had sever headachs, he was told to stop taking it. This was 5 days before he had his stroke and fall. So my question is did the fall give a stroke and or the Imdure a combination. Maxie
