My Husband Had A Total Knee Replacement 3 Weeks Ago

My husband had a total knee replacement 3 weeks ago & has done very well, but this evening he was in terrible pain after a couple of physio sessions today. He has tramadol 37.5 which he hasn't used in a week so I gave him 2 an 2 hours ago. He has had insomnia for days & has taken a 7.5 mg zopiclone for several nights & tonight because of taking the tramadol & am afraid to give him a zopiclone. He is frantic for sleep. Would it be o.k. to give him the zopiclone?
