My Husband Had An MRI Friday To Find Out What

My husband had an MRI friday to find out what the huge bulge is over his hip that he just had replaced with a titanium, plastic and (porcelin?) hip. Drs. were guessing hematoma that is not diapating. After the MRI his bulge has gotten even larger- is wearing sweats because he cannot pull his pants over it. We will not find out what it is from the Dr. til the 31st. Could the MRI have just aggravated it (whatever it is) because of the titanium? Should we go to ER? Could they even do anything there? He is in major pain.
