My Husband Had An Abcess Molar Removed May 8, 2015

My husband had an abcess molar removed May 8, 2015 since then he has had pain and been diagnosed with TMJ and is in physical therapy,(which doesn't seem to help). He has had 2 rounds of Amoxicillin and is now on a C-pak. He is still in pain. Has been fitted for a bite guard, but hasn't received it yet. He gets terrible headaches, has a feeling that he has a tight throat or a lump in his throat. He is on 600 mg of Ibuprofen and has been for a couple of months. Has been back to the oral surgeon , the dentist and our doctor. He is so miserable. Are all of these symptoms related to TMJ or are they divorced from it and is something else all together. Please help.
