My Husband Had Bloodwork Done A Week Ago Last Wednesday,

My husband had bloodwork done a week ago last Wednesday, starting Monday his arm was swelling, epspecially around his elbow, it is red,swollen and very hot to the touch. His arm is swollen down to his fingers and warm today. His BP was 148/92 and we found out his sugar is 240. He was checked and there was no bloodclot. They put him on KEFLEX and BACTRIM Tuesday night in the ER. Shouldn't this be better by now ? And could he be septic?
