My Husband Had Heart Bypass About 25 Yrs Ago With

My husband had heart bypass about 25 yrs ago with a vein removed from his right leg which has always been bigger than the left since surgery. Last night he had a bad bout with chills and rigors. We are in AZ and away from our doctors in GA. Both legs are swollen and taut and are red. I also think he has gotten dehydrated which may have caused the chills. I am concerned about a congestive heart condition and cellulitist. Am I in the ball park?
