My Husband Had His Gallbladder Removed About 9 Months Ago.

My husband had his gallbladder removed about 9 months ago. His appetite has changed and he no longer likes some of the foods he use to enjoy, but his real problem is his tongue. He says it is rough and it actually hurts to eat some foods. Is this related to his past surgery or something else we need to have checked out? Thanks.
