My Husband Had Left Foot And Leg Amputated BK 5

My husband had left foot and leg amputated BK 5 months ago. He has had two prosthesis due to stump shrinking. Two times his stump will start to burn and a large lump comes on the front of stump. Dr said it is a bruise. He tried to get prosthesis tight enough so no movement while walking.
Any advice?
