My husband had multiple blood transfusions when wounded in Veitnam. Then in 2006 he was being worked up for canditate for heart transplant. He tested positve on preliminary hcv test. Did more testing and determined he did have it and he is one in a million that his body took care of it. Now he just tested positive on prelim hcv. Would he still test positive and not have hep c?
