My Husband Had Sudden Numbness In His Foot On Tues

My husband had sudden numbness in his foot on Tues and was in ER. Ruled out DVT, Gout, or fracture. On Wed developed pain in one spot on his shin area- no redness, warmth, or edema. The pain in his shin spot has affected his ambulation abilities, now using a walker. Tonight, he developed a red stip area from that spot. I am a Nurse, my son in law is internal medicine physician. We have a doc appointment in the morning. My son in law mentioned psoobly shingles. I had never seen shingles on a shin area. Reason I was looking it up.
