My Husband Had Surgery On November 12th For A Tumor

My husband had surgery on November 12th for a tumor in the paratoid gland. Since then he has had a foley put in three times. This morning the urologist took it out and we have until 4:00pm to see if he can void. If not we are back to the dr. Is this normal after surgery? What can he do to urinate? He is taking Rapaflo with his meal.
