My Husband Had Third Icd Implanted 2 Days Ago. It

My husband had third icd implanted 2 days ago. It was difficult to insert the lead since they couldn't take the old one out. He was sent home yesterday. That appears to be all right, but we think his catheter on his left hand was not inserted properly, as it was painful to flush and receive meds. His left arm and hand are more swollen than yesterday. What should he do?
