My Husband Had What Was Called Tic Delarue Several Years

My husband had what was called tic delarue several years ago and with the pain he had episodes of falling, don't know if they were related or not. Now the pain in his face does not seem to be a problem but he still falls from time to time and his legs are becoming increasingly weak (uses a cane and sometimes a walker to steady himself). Could there be any connection for the two? Any suggestions as to help for a cure?
