My Husband Has COPD Plus Congestive Heart Failure. For The

My husband has COPD plus congestive heart failure. For the last 2 days his pulse has been in the 40's. He was in the hosp. last week and lost 10 lbs. due to fluid removal. Since he has been home he has stopped taking the lasic (sp) medication to raise his blood pressure. Is his low heart rate a serious problem at this time?
