My Husband Has PD Dx 03/2001. He Will Turn 77yrs.

My husband has PD Dx 03/2001. He will turn 77yrs. old in the next 2 weeks. I've recently learned
that he should NOT be taking Selegiline HCL while also taking Tramadol, 50 mg tabs--up to 8 tabs/day.
Currently his pain--for spinal stenosis--is considered "controlled". He usually takes 6-8 tabs daily, more
often 8. What is the "risk" of this. Should one or the other drug be discontinued?
