My Husband Has A Cerebral Atrophy, Has Seizures And Is

My husband has a cerebral atrophy, has seizures and is an alcoholic. He drinks beer and straight whiskey and has for years. He is very stubborn and won't go to the doctor. A few years ago he had surgery and after he was on a ventilator for 10 days. We were told that he had sirrosis of the liver then but, he would not go back to doctor. I know he is dying, he mostly stays in bed now but, continues to drink. The past few months he has been throwing up a lot, every 2-3 weeks he goes through bouts of throwing up a brown looking liquid. My question is, could it be blood? And, what is the possible prognosis if this goes untreated. Like I said, I know he is dying, but, what am I looking at? Is his time getting possibly near or are things just slowly going to get worse? Sorry this is so long but, I would just like to know what we are looking at. Thanks so much for your help
