My Husband Has A Fever Of 103.4 He Refuses To

My husband has a fever of 103.4 he refuses to go to the emergency room. Is there anything I can do to reduce his fever until the morning? He has the shivers, is complaining about a dry mouth, and is coughing pretty bad. Im keeping him hydrated and have a cool towel on his head to help bring down the fever.
