My Husband Has A Question About When He Urinates He

My husband has a question about when he urinates he can only empty is bladder a small amount and seems to have to go the bathroom quite frequently and can only pass a small amount of urine. Should he be seen to have his prostrate checked or is this another concern? Not sure
