My Husband Has A Sac Filled With Fluid In His

My husband has a sac filled with fluid in his scrotum. His doctor mentioned surgery if Flomax did not provide the desired results. Can you tell me what is involved with the surgery, how long of a hospital stay? recovery time, etc? The doctor only said that it was very painful. Thanks for any info you can provide. Linda.
