My husband has an infection under his capped tooth. He saw the dentist today who removed the cap, and gave him a prescription for clindamycin. My husband called the dentist back because he's in so much pain. The dentist gave him a prescription for Vicodin 7.5-300TA every 4-6 hours. He's been taking the antibiotics and the Vicodin and is still in a lot of pain. I have a few oxycodone left from an injury and I'm wondering whether he could combine that with the Vicodin.
